Today was my first day with kids! I felt so happy to see them. I hope this year goes smoothly for everyone.

Jack had a rough day yesterday. He is still trying to recover from a wild weekend of fun with cousins. He cried quite a bit, and had a few naps.

This morning he woke up a bit off. He just wanted to lay in bed with his dad and watch the wiggles. He was less than impressed when I put him in the car. I’m sure he is having a nice and relaxing day with his Nanny.

I definitely need to put a bit more thought into my morning routine- I feel like I had a lot of wasted time and ended up rushing.

Also: if anyone has any recipes for the slow cooker or instant pot- I’m all ears. I am the worst at making dinner.
